Widow’s Watch is my attempt to portrait the seat of House Flint on a harsh, cold, and barren shore. It seems life has left the castle, only the violent sea and lifeless rocks remained around that place. I tried to convey the feeling of loneliness, but with a hint of hope in the distance. Lady Lyessa Flint is waiting for something that may never come back.
This is one of three pieces I did for the exhibition “Unseen Westeros”. The main idea behind this exhibition/art-book is to show all the beautiful places of Game of Thrones we couldn’t see in the series. Me and over 40 artists worked on this ambitious project.
